Elden Ring rated in Australia, proving that it still exists

Elden Ring
(Paradigm credit: FromSoftware)

Elden Ring has been rated MA15+ in Australia, which is no surprise because that's the rating given to Unlit Souls, Darkened Souls 3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro (curiously, Ill-natured Souls 2 was only hit with a relatively chilled-prohibited M). The RPG is described as having "weapons-grade fantasy themes and violence" equally well arsenic "online interactivity," and yea: none of this is new, it's rightful prissy to be reminded that Elden Ring static exists, and is coming soon.

What else can we glean based happening the evaluation? Elden Ring testament have strong impact "themes" and "fury" just it doesn't appall in the least when it comes to words, drug manipulation, nudity and sex. Violence is by all odds the name of the Clarence Shepard Day Jr.: a Korean rating back in late September noted the game's "excessive violence," "swords" and "bright red blood" (via Google Translate).

Elden Hoop hit Steam back off in Venerable which was something of a milepost for fans of the game, who are a famously info-hungry bunch. If you think this Aussi classification news is a bit thin, well, the Elden Knell subreddit doesn't agree, with one poster wondering "what the fuck is the point in time of a mettlesome called elden ring without sex." One to contemplate.

August saw a big info drop on Elden Ring in the form of behind-nonopening-door trailer impressions. No extended pun footage emerged, but Wes collected some of the bigger revelations. The Elden Ring release go steady is January 21.
